Developed by Peter Levine, Somatic Experiencing (SE®) is a body–mind therapy specifically focused on healing trauma by helping clients draw their attention to their bodies. SE™ aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient. It is a body-oriented therapeutic model and has been clinically applied for more than four decades. Beyond trauma resolution, it helps individuals learn to regulate their nervous systems and find balance in today’s hectic world.

Somatic Bodywork sessions are designed to support nervous system regulation. Touch is gentle and slow and always within the parameters of what feels safe for you. There is space to process emotions that arise during the session. You may choose to receive the work fully clothed or wearing shorts, undergarments or the like for a more massage like experience. Areas of the body that are typically addressed are the kidney/adrenals, feet, hands and neck but the session will be tailored to your unique needs. Our goal is working together to bring greater coherence to your systems.

Stacy Earlywine is a Structural Medicine Specialist (SMS™), a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), a Board Certified Structural Integrator (BCSI) and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and has spent a lifetime exploring movement. She is a graduate of the Institute of Structural Medicine and has completed the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training with Peter Levine’s, Somatic Experiencing International. Her passion is working with humans in all their messiness to help them find wholeness in body, mind and spirit. In particular she’s invested in working with the outdoor community to address trauma that inevitably arises while perusing a life of adventure in the mountains.

In her free time Stacy enjoys skiing, climbing, mountain biking, running, wandering in the Cascade mountains and traveling as much as possible with her husband and two growing boys. ​
