Structural Medicine is a customized evaluation, treatment and collaborative team approach to an individual’s unique health issues. Distinctive to the field of structural integration, Structural Medicine directly addresses specific pathologies, painful complaints, and movement dysfunctions. It bridges well-established and proven evaluation tools found in mainstream medicine (strength, range-of-motion and neurological testing, postural assessment) with the latest scientific developments in alternative treatment therapies (manual therapy, myofascial release, movement education and neuromuscular re-education.)

Developed by Peter Levine, Somatic Experiencing (SE®) is a body–mind therapy specifically focused on healing trauma by helping clients draw their attention to their bodies. SE™ aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient. It is a body-oriented therapeutic model and has been clinically applied for more than four decades. Beyond trauma resolution, it helps individuals learn to regulate their nervous systems and find balance in today’s hectic world.

Stacy Earlywine is a Structural Medicine Specialist (SMS™) and a Board Certified Structural Integrator (BCSI).

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and has spent a lifetime exploring movement. She is a graduate of the Institute of Structural Medicine and in 2018 Stacy joined the ISM faculty as a Foundational Skills instructor. She’s thrilled to have the opportunity to help budding practitioners create a solid base from which to grow.

In addition to her clinical private practice in NE Seattle, Stacy is a volunteer medical provider with the Seattle Performing Arts Medicine Clinic (SeaPAM) where she enjoys collaborating with other practitioners to address the unique needs of dancers and performing artists of all genres. ​ In her free time Stacy enjoys skiing, climbing, mountain biking, running, wandering in the Cascade mountains and traveling as much as possible with her husband and two growing boys. ​
